Quick Update!

I know that I been gone for so gone. I want to do reviews and all on this blog.
I like to review books, so other people can see what other people thinks and talk about the book. I know its gonna be hard to review books and have a full time job, but I really want to try it. I might be doing you tube also. I have a channel, but I haven't update that in about 3 years I want to say. Its been forever. I'm sitting here watching (listening) to book tube. I been slowly reading One Week Girlfriend by Monica Murphy. I'm on Chapter 6, I like it so far. I can't believe that Andrew paid Fable money to be his girlfriend for a week. I can't wait to see where the story goes to. Maybe I'll binge the series, so I know what happens next. I normally get addicted to the books that is like that though, which is good.  I know this post, probably doesn't make sense, but I figure to update everyone what is going on and what I'm reading and all. I been thinking about getting a notebook, and writing down what books I'm reading and how many stars that I give the books. Of course my thoughts about the book also. I know there is a lot of bloggers and readers write down stuff about the book. I think that is a good idea. It's like keeping a journal about books.
Most likely the books I will be reviewing is new adult or young adult romance.
I'm not really into fantasy or the other genres. I wish I was, but I have tried.
I might be doing a book review tomorrow or so,well after I finish One week Girlfriend by Monica Murphy.

Where Have I been at???

          Hey Everyone,
It's been forever since I been on here to do a blog. There is a lot of things that been going on in my life, so I guess this is an update where have I been in the past 5 years. I'm planning on starting to blog more and more with books and updates on my life.

I started 2 jobs, then I got a better job so I been there for almost 3 years. I was in a bad relationship when I first started the blog, so I got out of that relationship 3 years ago or so. Now I'm engaged to an amazing guy that has 5 year old daughter that I adore.  Jimmy and I are planning on getting married soon, just don't know when yet. We have so many plans right now that we want to do together. We really want to travel and see the world. I got a new car 3 years, but now its being stupid and wanting to overheat and have no heat. Stupid Pontiac's, just saying I love my car to pieces but its a stubborn car.  I haven't been reading a lot just been too busy, but I'm planning on getting back to reading asap. I just read a book with a friend. Jimmy also likes to read, so that is a plus on my end.

So that is where I been for the past 5 years, just working my ass off and getting into a different relationship.  I will tell you guys about Jimmy a little bit.

Jimmy and I are 5 months apart, I'm older. We talked years ago and lost connect with each other. In fall of 2016, we started working together in different departments, then he started to talk to me on a website, then he found me on snap chat, then finally we started talking again, and few weeks later, we was together. Best decision I made in my life. I can't wait to marry him and start a family with him. I love his daughter like she was mine.

Faking Normal By: Courtney C.Stevens

Alexi Littrell hasn't told anyone what happened to her over the summer. Ashamed and embarrassed, she hides in her closet and compulsively scratches the back of her neck, trying to make the outside hurt more than the inside does.

When Bodee Lennox, the quiet and awkward boy next door, comes to live with the Littrells, Alexi discovers an unlikely friend in "the Kool-Aid Kid," who has secrets of his own. As they lean on each other for support, Alexi gives him the strength to deal with his past, and Bodee helps her find the courage to finally face the truth.

I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars. This book was so great. I Loved it. I really connect with Alexi a lot though the book.  She scratches her neck because of what happen to her this past summer, I use to cut, I been in her shoes.  Alexi really didn't know Bodee that well. Well Her parents let Bodee to move in with them because his dad is in jail and his mother is dead. Heather and Liz (Alexi's friends) have no idea what is going on, Alexi told them that Bodee moved in for awhile but they know that his mother died. Well the girls have 4th period together and someone keeps writing song lyrics down on lex's desk, so the girls called him the Caption Lyrics. The girls been trying to figure it who it was. Kayla (Alexi's Sister) is moving out and going to live with her Fiancee Craig . Craig works at the Alexi's school as a football coach. Kayla and Craig are off and on in their relationship.  Hayden likes Alexi and ask her to the dance and she said yes. Well anyways, After Alexi and Bodee got to know each other better , Bodee told Alexi that he seen his dad killing his mother, he was on the porch and his mom waved him off, so his dad couldn't come after him. So Alexi and Bodee was in the fort that Alexi made when she was younger. Alexi told Bodee what happen to her in the summer time before school started, but she didn't tell who did it. Then finally few days later, Alexi told Bodee who raped her,* SPOILER* and he was really mad at Craig for raping her. Bodee told Lexi to tell her parents and her sister before Kayla  gets married to Craig. So Lexi wrote down on a piece of paper what happen and give it to Kayla. Kayla kicked Craig out and broke up with him. They told their parents! I really loved this book. I hope everyone will pick this book up and read it.  Its one of my favorites. I will read and own anything this author writes :)

Safe Haven By: Nicholas Sparks

When a mysterious young woman named Katie appears in the small North Carolina town of Southport, her sudden arrival raises questions about her past. Beautiful yet self-effacing, Katie seems determined to avoid forming personal ties until a series of events draws her into two reluctant relationships: one with Alex, a widowed store owner with a kind heart and two young children; and another with her plainspoken single neighbor, Jo. Despite her reservations, Katie slowly begins to let down her guard, putting down roots in the close-knit community and becoming increasingly attached to Alex and his family.

But even as Katie begins to fall in love, she struggles with the dark secret that still haunts and terrifies her . . . a past that set her on a fearful, shattering journey across the country, to the sheltered oasis of Southport. With Jo’s empathic and stubborn support, Katie eventually realizes that she must choose between a life of transient safety and one of riskier rewards . . . and that in the darkest hour, love is the only true safe haven.

I Thought the book was good, I liked the movie a little bit better then the book. I didn't like how the changed the little girls name in the book or the movie. The book had more detail about Kate's (Erin's) real life that she left with her husband and what her husband did to her then the movie.  But I did give the book 5 out of 5 stars because it's a good book.  There are some other parts what her husband did to her and I can't remember what they were, Its been a few months since I read the book.

Beautiful Disaster By: Jamie McGuire

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn't drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University’s Walking One-Night Stand.
Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby wants—and needs—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

I really loved this book so much. I couldn't put it down for nothing. I gave this book 5 out of 5 stars, if I could give the book more stars I would of.  This was my first new adult book. I brought the book off from Amazon and I thought I would read it and see if I like it. At first, I didn't like Travis that much, then he grew on me a lot and now I love Travis. I really can relate to Abby a little bit and her friend America. I thought that Abby and Travis would fall for each other after Abby and America sleeping at the apartment while something was wrong in the dorms. I thought it was kind of weird that Travis's brothers found out who Abby's dad was and everything. I would tell everyone to pick this book up. They would fell in love with it. Its amazing book.

The Summer I Found You By: Jolene Perry

Kate's dream boyfriend has just broken up with her and she's still reeling from her diagnosis of type 1 diabetes. Aidan planned on being a lifer in the army and went to Afghanistan straight out of high school. Now he's a disabled young veteran struggling to embrace his new life.
When Kate and Aidan find each other neither one wants to get attached. But could they be right for each other after all?

I loved this book so much. I gave it 5 stars. I can relate with Kate about being a diabetic because my mother is one and she is on the insulin pump also. (Like Kate is on of the book after she makes a decision about the pump for college). I never read  a book about someone being a diabetic or in the army. I thought it was kind of awesome to read something like this. I got the book from net galley and I went to look it up when it came out because I knew that I was gonna buy it, so I did on Amazon! Its amazing book, Go check it out!
